Hale ka Po'e Keiki: ICIA's Annual Fund for Relief of Homeless Families and Children
Hale ka Po'e Keiki - Homes for Children - is ICIA's signature fund that provides aid to homeless families in Hawai'i County.
Each year ICIA enters into a partnership with a local agency active in supporting the effort to end family homelessness. In addition to the funds raised in that year through Hale ka Po'e Keiki, ICIA creates volunteer opportunities for worshipers at its member congregations and all members of the community.
Created in 2022, ICIA's first partner is Habitat for Humanity of Hawai'i Island. Already funds have been raised through a special appeal on Mother's Day, and an ICIA build is being scheduled for August.
