Please join Interfaith Communities in Action (ICIA) and Habitat for Humanity Hawaii Island as they join forces at a home build for a family in need in Puna!

Who is Habitat for Humanity Hawaii Island?
Habitat is a faith-based housing ministry on Hawaii Island, committed to make homeownership a reality for families in need on Hawaii Island. Since 2002, it has built homes for over 60 families!

How can your organization help?

• Provide Volunteers during the build (Skilled and unskilled volunteers are needed).
• Help promote the build within your congregation (bulletins, social media, website)
• Volunteer for coordinator positions

An investment of your time is an investment in Hawaii Island's families.

More Information

There are two shifts daily, 8:00 AM - noon, and 11:45 AM - 4:00 PM. Both shifts will lunch together at noon, and both will have orientation time before beginning work. There is space for twelve volunteers per shift.

Congregations are also needed to provide the lunch on each day and to host refreshments for each shift - light snacks and soft drinks (water is a favorite!).
